This policy is in relation to the use of dash-cams to collect data in relation to vehicle safety functions tested by TÜV Rheinland-KTI Ltd., with address Thank Károly u. 3-5, Budapest (H1119), Hungary (hereinafter, "TR-KTI"), as data controller of personal data affected by the recordings, such as images, or number plate of the vehicles.

TR-KTI carries out, along other services, testing of vehicles for its customers. We use the dash-cam to provide evidence of our service provision and that the issued measurement results and deliverables are in line with the operation of the subject vehicle in exceptional cases if it is necessary to give proof to the customer. If the recorded evidence needs to be used for the above mentioned purpose to our Customers, we only provide footage after data masking and blurring of any personal information (including faces, license plates, etc.) We are not providing any personal information to third parties.

The legal basis of the processing is our legitimate interest to prove the service provision and the results obtained.

Regarding the storage period, data will be stored until 2 years after finishing the project, but not more than 5 years from the date of data collection.

At any time you can exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, limitation and portability, by writing TR-KTI in the above mentioned address or to adatvedelem@hu.tuv.com, indicating "Data Protection" as a reference, and duly proving your identity. Likewise, we inform you that the contact details of the person in charge of data protection matters are those mentioned above. You have the right to file a claim with the ICO, in case you consider your rights infringed.
